Jivika Biervliet (1986) is a menswear designer who graduated from the Utrecht school of Arts in 2010 (Fashion Communication). She became particularly attracted to designing men’s fashion because there seem to be more rules about what can and what cannot. Which makes it more challenging for Jivika to search for boundaries and limitations.

In her vision there is no need anyway to differentiate between children’s, women’s, and men’s fashion. In her designs one can find playfulness which is recognizable for her work. With her ‌creations, Jivika tries to tell a story. For her collection to be shown at Amsterdam Fashion Week ‘Forever Young’, it is about the child inside of all of us… that will life on forever.
